The St Albans Local Magazine is designed to be sought locally by the Community who like to read the articles, find out what’s going on and read about what businesses in the area have to offer. The key point is that the magazine is kept, read and referred to regularly throughout the month. So if your message is in it, it will be seen.

What’s on? is a valuable section that lists events, clubs & activities happening each month in the local area. There is a section especially dedicated to activities for children. The magazine also has a mixture of articles and advertising of interest to the local community.

We don’t just sell Advertising space

We are not just selling advertising space, The business is St Albans-based and part of the community – our aim is to promote your business as best we can to raise your profile and win you new customers.

You can put your message across by editorial, a snippet of news or an advert to promote your name or you could put your promotional material in as an insert into the magazine if you want people to read more information about what you have to offer and why you are different. Who produces the magazine?

The St Albans Local Magazine is independently owned & produced by Crusader Marketing. Ed Green, the owner of the business, lives and works in St Albans and is very much part of the local community. Ed has worked in marketing for many years and can advise you on how best to promote your business. He has also launch and run 5 magazines in the Nottinghamshire area before returning south.

The St Albans Local Magazine is produced to a very high standard. All artwork can be finished to ensure that your company image is enhanced by its association with a high quality publication. It is full colour pages and features local photographer’s and artist’s work on the front cover and throughout the magazine.

Where is the magazine distributed?

The circulation is over 5000 to owner occupied houses in Chiswell Green, and Park Street. The delivery rounds vary from month to month so

that advertisers cover a wider spread of households and businesses and will increase to a coverage to 9,000 over two magazines. The magazine is put through doors independently – it is not part of any other leaflet or paper drop – it stands on its own.

1000 are put in central distribution points for people to pick up if they don’t have it delivered through the door. These are: Post Offices in the area, The Tourist Information Centre in St Albans, The St Albans Library in the Maltings, Community Halls and various cafes and bars in town for people to read whilst having a bite to eat or a coffee. The magazine is distributed within the AL2 postcode area.

How often does the magazine come out?

There are twelve issues a year. The magazine comes out at the beginning of each month. Copy deadline is the 15th of the month previous to the issue you wish to be in.
